We use Atlassian OnDemand. When using the @mention feature, it only pulls back google account users - no external users in the user list return in the search results.
Is this a configuration issue on our part?
Hi Tommy – yes, this sounds like an issue best addressed by our support team.
Atlassian determined this was a bug in the online version - they fixed it and verified that our external users were available using @mention in Confluence
And the response to our issue was very quick!

Actually, the issue is that our external users cannot use @mention at all. As an internal user, we can call out the external users with @mention.
