Hi Guys, i moved Confluence to a new server with a new database.

After installing the new server the path to my keystore file is now set to C:\Users\%username%

How can i configure confluence to look in a different path for the keystore file?

The adaption in the server.xml file seems not to work:

" <Connector port="8443" maxHttpHeaderSize="8192"
maxThreads="150" minSpareThreads="25"
protocol="org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11NioProtocol"
enableLookups="false" disableUploadTimeout="true"
acceptCount="100" scheme="https" secure="true"
clientAuth="false" sslProtocols="TLSv1,TLSv1.1,TLSv1.2" sslEnabledProtocols="TLSv1,TLSv1.1,TLSv1.2" SSLEnabled="true"
URIEncoding="UTF-8" keystorefile="C:\Program Files\Atlassian\Confluence\Cert\" keystorePass="******"/>.

Can you please help?

Thank you very much

Hello there Mike!

We will need to install this new certificate in your instance. You can take a look here:

Running Confluence Over SSL or HTTPS

Also, we have had customers that had similar issues here:

Confluence Certificate renewal

Installing a new Wildcard SSL Certificate on an existing Confluence Server

Now, can I ask you a few things:

  1. What exactly happens when you try to access Confluence after this migration?
  2. Is your previous instance still up and running?
  3. Could you share screenshots of what happens when you try to access Confluence?

Just be careful not to disclose any sensitive information on those screenshots. Community is a public space and anyone can see here!

Looking forward to your reply!
