how to migrate jira and confluence from multiple instance to single instance

Paramasivam April 22, 2024

Hi,

We are in process to migrate jira and confluence from multiple instances to single instance. Both jira and confluence having datacenter edition. Consolidating to single server not cloud. Please let me know the process to consolidate the instances.

Thanks

Siva

Hi Paramasivam,

If my understanding is correct.

Atlassian has stopped providing licenses for Server now that the Server platform is no more.

Could you please explain to me why you preferred Server? Now we only have Data Center and Cloud platforms.

Thanks,

Armitha.

Hi Sebastian,

thanks for your information.

The provided link used for restoring a single project. My requirement is I have 3 servers with Jira and confluence.  one server has 1000 projects, 2 server has 750 projects and 3 server has 200 projects. Same like confluence has more spaces in each server.

my requirement, i have to consolidate 2 and 3rd server with 1 server. I have to move jira and confluence from 2nd and 3rd server to 1st server. Please let me know the process for this consolidation.

Thanks

Siva
