how to add multiple, redundant AD servers to a user directory?

MLP SCADA February 28, 2019

confluence on a local server

single AD domain, three AD servers for redundancy, call them winds1 (192.168.1.11/24), winds2 (192.168.1.12/24) and winds3 (192.168.1.13/24).

I have a user directory set up in confluence and successfully auth'ing with 192.168.1.11.   How do I include the AD servers 192.168.1.12 and 192.168.1.13 as well?

Confluence does not support directory fail over, you would have to use Crowd in order to add fail overs, see Configuring directories for failover authentication.

There is a suggestion to have it added to Confluence, see CONFSERVER-8867
