i want to include an excerpt inside a table, i already created it but when i try to copy and past is inside a cell in a table, it is pasted outside the table. is there any way i should configure confluence to allow me?
You can't. Nesting options for macros/tables vary but it's better than it was at the beginning of Cloud.
You can use the Expand macro in a table cell but not an excerpt.
Having said that, being a content person, I don't like overcomplicating tables with lists, excerpts, etc. In most cases, it doesn't help to carry the information forward and I always keep on looking for options to rearrange the information architecture on the given page.
