Hi .

i have a table with a lot of texts in the cells that i need to filter and share this info .
table filter works on filtering the entire cell but what im looking for is to filter withen cells
eg assuming this is a table content cell1 (column1 row 1)
BLOCKER : This item is blocked for the xyz reason
<<YES>> : This task is completed and does not need additional supervision
<<NO>>: this task is not needed anymore

Cell2 (column1 row 2)
BLOCKER : This item is blocked ....
<<YES>> : This task is completed ....
<<NO>>: this task is not needed ....

I want a way to use text or icon filter to filter out a table with applicable rows but only showing the text line im interested in different cells in the same order ,so basically omitting other text not needed

eg: BLOCKER : This item is blocked for the xyz reason
BLOCKER : This item is blocked ....

Hi @Sneha Baid ,

You may reconsider your initial table structure and split your data into separate cells.

As you've mentioned the Table Filter macro, it means that you use our Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence app. So, you may take the Table Spreadsheet macro to make your big table more neat and easy-to-read.

But the filtration remains Excel-like: you'll be able to filter your cells by partial match (the text consists of...), but as a result you'll see the whole cell. So, the workaround will be to split your cells.
