I used to be able to copy any picture in confluence.
Now, nothing is accepted by confluence anymore, that includes Excel plots, computer screen shots, images from a website, an excel plot that was copied in powerpoint as JPG and then copied to confluence.
the only thing that works is downloading or saving an image as JPG.file and then upload image in confluence.
I am getting desperate.
Well, it doesn't work in Edge either. Unless I paste/copy the bitmap in Irfanview. So my workflow is:
- from e.g. Onenote, I copy the bitmap
- in Irfanview, I paste the bitmap
- in Irfanview, I copy the bitmap
- in Confluence using Edge, I now can paste the bitmap.
Not a happy flow, since I'm moving a lot of pages with a lot of bitmaps from onenote into confluence 🫤
I've not seen any other reports of this issue. May be something unique on your instance, perhaps something with the admin settings.
If you're able to talk on the Sydney timezone feel free to find a time with me next week and we can try and figure it out together: https://calendly.com/owallis
Failing that I'd recommend reaching out to our support folks so they can take a look at your Confluence instance.

Hi @paul van hummelen ,
What kind of browser? If it is Chrome, it is recommended to test after upgrading to the latest version.

I'm not sure, maybe it's a bug in the current Chrome version or something is disabled in the Chrome local settings.
