confluence we ran into issues because the file may the wrong type password protected or read only

Hello. 

we have been having an issue that we cannot upload a doc to the space we have been working on for  a while and keep getting the followig message

"confluence we ran into issues because the file may the wrong type password protected or read only"

we tried every solution online, and no sucess

The latest version of Word is read-only when you save it, can you try saving it in 2013 format and then import

Can you try zipping the file in a folder and try uploading to see if that works ?
