confluence page modify date

Dear Support Team,
After modify page content , I found page modify date will change, but when I upload attachment in the same page, why page modify date did not update? Thanks a lot.

Hi Majken

Why when attachment filename is the same, after update attachment, page modify date won't be changed in confluence 4.2.1 ? But in confluence 6.0.2 is normal.

Which version is fixed the issue? Thanks a lot.

That date refers to the visible content of the page. If you want to display information about the files attached you could include a file macro.
