I lost a lot of work when our confluence page was updates and the macro called 'checklist' no longer seems to be available, not an alternative is provided. Any idea's how to get the data back or setting it up again with a new alternative?

Exactly which macro are you referring to? There's no checklist macro by default in Confluence (besides tasks macros) so it's possible you were using a 3rd party add-on.

Will request a getting it back to the people that are in charge, no one probably knew there were 3rd party add-ons being installed in our previous Confluence setting.
