@Diego

We are experiencing this same issue.

Please see my answers to your questions:

  • Is this present on any page that contains the Attachments macro? Yes
  • Is there any other macro present on the page that shows this behavior? No
  • Is this behavior present in newly created pages? No - existing pages
  • Is this behavior present only in already existing pages? Yes - to get it to work you have to click edit on a confluence page and re-publish for the pop up window to show after clicking browse for files
  • Is there any error shown when you try to upload files with the macro? No Error - have to use the drag and drop method. Clicking on the link nothing happens if it is an existing macro.
  • Which version of Confluence are you currently using? Confluence Cloud
  • Could you share some screenshots of the behavior with us? Difficult to capture as nothing is happening when I click on browse for files.

Hello @내미랑다롱이랑. Do not worry about your english, we can surely understand what you are facing! Glad to have you share your situation here in the community.

As I understand, you are having problems uploading files via the browse file option In both Firefox and Chrome. Using the drag and drop option works as expected.

We still need some context for the behavior so we can try and solve it. For this I have the following questions:

  1. Is this present on any page that contains the Attachments macro?
  2. Is there any other macro present on the page that shows this behavior?
  3. Is this behavior present in newly created pages?
  4. Is this behavior present only in already existing pages?
  5. Is there any error shown when you try to upload files with the macro?
  6. Which version of Confluence are you currently using?
  7. Could you share some screenshots of the behavior with us?

When taking the screenshots, be sure not to share any sensitive information. Our community is an open space and everyone can see everything here.

We can test the behavior by doing this:

  1. Create a new page
  2. Place the attachments macro
  3. Publish the page
  4. Try to upload files via the macro

When you try to upload the file, check if there are any errors that you could share with us.

Looking forward to your reply!

hi~ thank for your help!!

Files are uploaded using the drag & drop method.
The confluence version is 6.15.4, the latest version of confluence will not occur.

Thank you for helping again.

Hey there! Thanks for replying and letting me know your Confluence version. I tried to replicate this issue but was unable to.

Also, have you had the chance to check the questions I sent your way in my previous reply?

Further, have you tried to upload files using a browser such as Firefox?
