allowing jira users to access confluence spaces

Jeremy Sanderlin May 14, 2013

Greetings,

I have a project in Jira and a space in Confluence. I have created the users in Jira and they all have successfully accessed the Jira project. However, I seem to be unable to add those same users to the corresponding Confluence space. I've gone to the "Confluence Admin" page and then clicked on "Users". This action takes me straight back to the Jira "Users" page. I also attempted to enable the "External user management" option, but I am not able to do so as the check box is grey'ed out.

Please assist me to remedy this situation.

Thank you for your time.

As far as I remember you also need to then connect the project itself to the space in confluence via the Application links under the Project administration screen

You probably have done it already but just checking in case, you have linked your Applications via Applinks?
