add group to new space automatically

Is it possible to have a group automatically added to a new Confluence Space? We have a admin group that should be in every space created so they can manage it.

Yes it is! From your Administration section, click on Space Permissions on the sidebar (or append /admin/permissions/viewdefaultspacepermissions.action to your base URL) and look at the Default Space Permissions section at the top.

You can use that big Edit Permissions button to add the users or groups you want to the permissions for all new spaces.

Once these are set, any new space you create will start with these permissions by default!
