Dear Sir/Madam

Currently we are using Windows 2003 for Active Directory and I was wondering if Confluence can be connected to the AD?

Hello Reza,

As Nic has mentioned, Confluence and other Altassian Applications can connect to LDAP directories including Active Directory. I'd just like to mention that it's not possible to retrieve all details from the LDAP as you might wish, such as phone number, department, etc.

Here's a Suggestion related to this, though: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-21982

Let us know if you have any questions here.

@Eduardo Mallmann, do Atlassian cloud products (e.g. Bitbucket and JIRA) support integration with LDAP or is it supported for on premise implementation?

No. Cloud does not yet do LDAP. If you want to connect LDAP, you have to use Server.
