about confluence backup

use confluence 6.3 and i want to known about backup;

have any plugin or other way ,that can show  report forms about backup package(backup failed or success,every times i must be find it to server and looking for backup fold). or extraction log to and show me  list about the confluence backup. i want to directly known the backup status(success or failed).

Dear @hanlinbo,

I recommend doing this outside Confluence with nagios. Write a check for files in the backup directory, that validates if it was successful.
