Write Specific information in log file in confluence

Natalie Wenz August 21, 2012

I read the documentation about the logging behaviour of confluence. I am not sure how to edit the logging behaviour. For example i would like to log special things what some user did. I want to know when an user deletes an attachment.

Is there a way to configure the log files for getting customized output?

Hello,

I'm not sure if it is exactly what you need, but you can change the log configurations through Confluence Admin section: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Configuring+Logging.

Also, you can follow these steps to enable user access logging:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF41/How+to+audit+Confluence+-+enabling+user+access+logging

Cheers

Ok thank you very much. I have read this both pages but i think its not possible to get specific log output on this way. I'm wondering if its possible to create a new log file just with the relevant information.
