Although I think it's great to allow emojis if someone wants them, I'm finding it very frustrating to have emoji's automatically load in place of text. For example, I don't want "B:" to be replaced with an face with sunglasses when I'm trying to get text written. Would you please tell me how to turn off those automatic emojis?
I'll second this suggestion. I'd upvote anything related to this.
I don't want to ditch all keyboard shortcuts. Just the replacement of the more obscure text emojis, like 0:3 to angel.
You need to disable keyboard shortcuts which may not be ideal.

Thank you @Fabian Lim . This looks like it disables all keyboard shortcuts--unfortunately, I only want to remove the automatic emojis. Do you know of any way to specify just the emojis?

Not that I know of. I would just try to avoid those characters.
For "B:", maybe use the numbered bulleted format instead.
