Word imports generate a lot of notifications

When using doc imports, other users receive a lot of mail notifications. I only created one article, but they received dozens of emails. What method can solve excuse me?

Hi,

you might want to try the following approach:

1. Create a new page & restrict it to be readable by yourself only

2. Import the word document below that page & don't split it up on chapters

3. After the import you might want to move the pages below another unrestricted page

The users are notified because they watch the whole space on changes & enabled email notifications on changes to the space. Also make sure, that the imported word file is not split up & kept in one page unless you really want this.
