Months ago admins were prompted that space shortcuts would disappear and replaced by Smart links. In the meanwhile it still exists, you can even toggle on/off the feature when you create a new space or for an existing space.
We started moving our shortcuts to SmartLink but the team never felt happy with the move.
Is it possible that the feature Shortcuts remain after all? We would love it :-)
Hi @Peter Bettens and everyone,
Our product team decided to revert the changes in response to the feedback received from the community post, which has since been removed to prevent any confusion.
Thank you for bringing the issue with the official documentation to our attention. I have informed the appropriate team to update it by removing the note.
Thanks,
Dhanush
Hi, I'm not sure if also the documentation regarding the Shortcuts in the sidebar of a space is up-to-date now. This is what my original post was about.

Hi @Peter Bettens
I recommend using the "Provide feedback about this article" feature at the bottom of the documentation to submit your feedback directly to our content team.
This will help us identify any missing changes.
Thanks,
Dhanush

The official documentation still claims that Shortcuts will be deprecated: Configure shortcut links | Confluence Cloud | Atlassian Support
However, the Community article doesn't exist anymore. I will escalate your question to the Atlassian Team. Maybe they can shed some light on this.

Yes indeed it could remain if the feedbacks were not good on it.
The best is to create a support ticket to Atlassian to know what is going on for this feature.
