We created a space (let´s call ist SpaceA) where we collect different to do´s for different project states. We want to copy SpaceA to other projectspaces (in this example SpaceP) for checklisiting this items.
We used the macros Multiexcerpt for defining the source and Multiexcerpt include for collecting the sources in a list in Space A. That worked without problems.
But after copied this list/Site (containing the multiexcerpt includes) from SpaceA to SpaceP we get an error and the list doesnt show the content from the source (in SpaceA).
Error message: the site containing the multiexcerpt doesnt exist. please check the macro.
We cannot fix it (neither via cache eg).
How do we can copy variable content from one source to another with this macros without getting an error?
Hi @Olga Pick ,
Are you referring to the native Confluence Excerpt macro or MultiExcerpt app from Appfire? Or maybe something else entirely?
If you're using the Marketplace app mentioned, you might want to contact the vendor directly via their Help Center with this query.
Cheers,
Tom
Hi @Olga Pick ,
I've just tried to create a page that includes multiple excerpts from other pages within the same space. Also, I've tried to copy that page to another space but it all seems to work as expected.
Can you maybe take a screenshot of part of the page containing these excerpts and parts of the pages where these excerpts are sourced?
Additionally, you can reach out to Atlassian Support and grant them access to your site for further debugging.
Cheers,
Tom

@Olga Pick glad to hear that. If you manage to find the root cause/solution I believe other community members would be grateful if you would share it here so that whenever stumbles on the same issue can debug it more easily. 🙂
