Why use Confluence/Jira if we have an alternative like clickup, or coda?

I want to make good SOPs documentation but there isn't really good tutorials from Confluence, and also I think confluence is not user-friendly. It's complicate to do simple things that I can do in notion/coda, like organize the information and the UX experience

Hi @Joaquin Tegtmeier ,

personally, I think it's like anything else new. Anytime you look to take on some new application there is a learning curve. I find confluence quite easy to use especially if you're just doing basic documentation. There is a ton of good documentation training, YouTube videos, etc. that can help you along your journey.

You can find the documentation here

here are some good training resources

if you are already using other Atlassian products like Jira or Jira service management, then that is a good reason to leverage confluence as they integrate well together. In the end, only you and your team can make that call though.
