Why the blank line is not shown on the page?

When I in the edit mode, I can enter blank line by hitting return key and the blank line is shown there. After hitting the update button and going back to the view page, the blank is not shown anymore. How can I add blank line in the confluence page?

Hi @Lawrence ,

  You have a couple options:

• Click your layouts button and add a new layout row under that spot.
• Insert a period on the new line and make the font white.
• Hold Shift + enter could potentially work.
• Modify the HTML <> and add the code <br> after your last line.
• Create a user macro for line breaks.
