First, which is better to use as far as displaying information from a project in Jira? Is it the Jira Issue/Filter Macro or Filter Results Macro?
Specifically, I am using Filter Results Macro simply because it was easier to configure. I want to be able to display information from more than one project and that works. The problem is if a user isn't accessed to a project, then they can't see the other projects they do have access to. Is there a way to fix this?
For example, this is the error the users are seeing:
They should see something like this:
Of course it will display information for each column. I haven't included that for security reasons.
If anyone can help here, I would really appreciate it.
Hi @TK
No there is no way to fix this, all users needing to see this information in the filter result on a dashboard, need to have access to the origin of the content.
They require browse permissions on any project specified in the filter
Hi @Marc - Devoteam,
I see. Can you please clarify these two things?
"need to have access to the origin of the content"
"They require browse permissions on any project specified in the filter"
Thank you.

Hi @TK
So all the user who can use the filter to see results, need to have permissions on the results of the filter.
So if you refer in your filter to project the users don't have access to (browse permission is the minimum required permission), they will get an error on trying to see the filter results.
