Every time I try to use the bug reporting system it's a nightmare.
Firstly, it's damn hard to find!
Secondly, the whole interface is a confusing, bewildering mass of 'bits'n pieces'
Thirdly, it keeps wanting you to put some kind of SQL type statement in first?
Fourthly, you get taken to other jira boards or back out
Fifthly, it's simply a nightmare to report anything.
I believe this to be deliberate, to dissuade users from reporting bugs (which anyway, are never fixed).
Hi Nicholas,
Are you referrnig to the public issue tracker on https://jira.atlassian.com/ ?
Because you can't file a bug directly in there.
Or is it about the support poral on https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ ?
See... you've just proved my point....
Going into Jira issue tracker is like going into the tower of babble - hopeless to find a particular bug report.
and support portal is no good as it responds with:
However, as Atlassian Confluence never get round to fixing things and have a 'Policy' absolving themselves, it is pretty pointless even considering reporting bugs.
Just trying to point out that the 'Table of Content Zone' macro zaps all the text formatting inside it. Not going to hold my breath about that being fixed any year soon.
