We recently moved from server version to a cloud solution.  When I try to copy the elements from a page (Stilsoft macro) and paste the result to another page, I obtain a table with a snapshot.  Is anyone exprienced this behaviour before ??

Hi @Jean Francois Gelinas ,

It indeed looks like your first screenshot was taken from the page that uses the old Cloud editor. The old Cloud editor somewhat reminds of Server/Data Center - it allows you to nest several macros.

But the new Cloud editor doesn't support this feature, so you'll need to use the Table Toolbox macro to nest macros. The macro is also provided by the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app, was developed specifically for Cloud and you can find it through your macrobrowser.

Hi @Katerina Kovriga _Stiltsoft_

That's what I feared.  Atlassian is forcing everyone to move to the Cloud version by 2024.  If I understand correctly Stilsoft is expecting us to manually convert each page to the new editor ?  We have over 1000 pages using that macro.

It seems that there is some misunderstanding regarding the terms: Atlassian (and we as its vendor) stop supporting Server apps in 2024. So by this time it is better to move to Cloud and Data Center. So, I assume you've already migrated to the Cloud hosting.

And the Cloud hosting has two editors: an old legacy one (that looks more like Server) and a new editor. Here you can read more about their roadmaps.

As far as we know, there are no any plans to "kill" the legacy editor - so you may keep all your old pages in it without converting them to the new editor.

And all the newly created pages will be automatically supported by the new editor - there you'll need the Table Toolbox to nest our macros.

Of course, I could keep em without converting them (legacy editor), but imply that I will never "upgrade" them by adding a new feature or something.  And since we want all the reports to look the same, we will have to convert them manually.  Anyway, right now, the Cloud version is very buggy so we can't use the app.  Here's one of the many bugs we found with jira integration.  So far its a nightmare and we'll probably start from stratch ...

Thanks for your time.

Hi @Jean Francois Gelinas

It looks like your first page is using the old editor, do you have the following message on the bottom of your page?

If so, it should work better once you convert your first page to the new editor.

Hope this helps,

- Manon

But Stilsoft wont work ... since we have 1000 pages like this, I'm still wondering how to tackle this.
