I'm an org admin, and don't have SSO or an IDP configured and configuration screen has all the options except "Hide external links from search engines" greyed out. Is it being overridden from somewhere else or is this a cloud default that is shown but you can't change?
@Minh Tran Here is the KB explaining how to change it and why it is there. https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/hide-external-links-from-search-engines/
You should have the ability to change it. I am not sure why it would be greyed out. I would suggest submitting a support ticket or checking with other admins to see if they can change it.
Thanks Brant. This KB explains how to change the only option that I actually can change. It is the only one that is not greyed out. All other options eg. CAPTCHA, timeouts etc. are greyed out.

@Minh Tran are you are on a paid plan? I see you stated premium so I am guessing that is not the issue. I checked my instance and it looks like they are all greyed out as well. My guess is that Atlassian does not allow you to change them anymore. I would suggest submitting a support issue to Atlassian if you need any of them changed.

Thanks @Brant Schroeder yes, we are on Confluence Premium. I've also checked the standard plan and the free plan and these settings are greyed out in all instances. I'm opening up a support request with Atlassian to look into this.

@Brant Schroeder , latest update from Atlassian:
"I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but unfortunately, these options are disabled by default in Confluence Cloud. Even us, as support, are unable to modify these values."
So it appears that they put up a list of options that no one can change. Definitely poor UI design. Perhaps they were once editable but no longer.
In any event, I'll have to look elsewhere to troubleshoot my current issue.

Hi @Minh Tran
This might help.
SAML single sign-on is available when you subscribe to Atlassian Access .
Atlassian Access enables company-wide visibility, security, and control across your Atlassian Cloud products (Jira, Confluence, Trello and Bitbucket).
You can read more about SAML SSO with Atlassian Access here.

Thanks Kristian - I don't have Atlassian access. I actually have two cloud instances, one where I have Atlassian Guard configured and one where I do not and neither Security configuration screen allows me to modify any setting except "Hide external links from search engine."....all other settings are greyed out and those are the ones I'd like to be able to modify.
