Who can create teams in Confluence? Can this be limited? How?

When creating Teams can this be created only by the Admin? Can anyone create a Team? How can we do to highlight the teams created by the admin?

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

If you are referring to the Teams created through the Teams menu option, those can be created by any user. It is not currently possible to limit this.

There have been change requests opened on that topic, but the response has been that the change is not on the roadmap.

Teams are not product specific. They are shared across all products within an Atlassian Cloud Organization. So the change request above may reference Jira but would also apply to Confluence.

 

If you want to highlight teams created by Administrators, you could coach your Administrators to use a standard naming convention.
