Hello Gal,

Thank you for contacting us!

Storing such large files on Confluence is definitely possible, but not recommended. It really depends on your Confluence server. There is a lot to consider, such as how much memory you have allotted on the server and in Confluence, the limits of any proxies that you might be using, and if you were be able to upload such a large file from your network within the timeout limit. If you aren't sure, you might want to speak to your network and server admins.

Have a look here for information on attachment size in Confluence:

Otherwise, we recommend users store such large videos on a video site, like YouTube or Vimeo. You can embed these videos in Confluence using the Multimedia Macro.

Shannon

Hi Shannon,

Is there any way we can embed videos uploaded in SharePoint to Confluence page?

Can you please share with me the steps or link on how to achieve this?

Regards,

Prashant

Hi Prashant,

You would need some way to host files publicly in SharePoint as YouTube does. You'll want to look more into SharePoint's documentation or a related community.

There may also be an add-on in Marketplace, so have a look at the available SharePoint add-ons. I hope this helps!

Take care,

Shannon
