Where do Files get stored when uploading them through the "Attachments" Macro?

I'm working in a Space, and in that Space I have a Page Tree (left hand side) I have a file structure that has a basic description of what I'm attempting to experiment within the Confluence site (testing macros and page setups for development), and links that goes to two separate children pages (Repository & Output).

In the Repository page I have a simple table titled "Files" and underneath are two PDFs and two .png images.

In the Output folder there's another table and within that table is the "Attachments" macro (which is tied to the Repository page), and I have it set to upload, download, and preview these files from the Repository.

With example setup that I just explained within the Space that I'm working from, when the "Attachments" macro gives me the option to "Drag and drop to upload...", and when I do upload another .png file; where does said file get stored at?  It's not obviously going to the Repository page and I see it in the table within the Attachments macro in the Output page, does the Output page's Attachments macro act as another repository that not only outputs but also stores files?  Because my initial understanding was that the Attachments macro was supposed to be able to preview and download files, but when it gives the option to upload I thought it would go to the page that it's pulling from (Repository in this case).

Hello @John Doen

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Can you show us the configuration details of your macro?

Also, are you using Confluence Data Center (self-hosted) or Confluence Cloud?

Looking at the documentation for the native Attachments macro I don't see an option in its configuration that allows you to specify that attachments from another page should be in the list.

I just found out the answer to my question after playing with the macro's configuration with some time.

To answer some of your questions, I am unsure if the space that we're working in is Local or Cloud based, however there is an option at the bottom of the Attachments Macro configuration labeled "Page Title" where I can have the macro display files from a Repository.
