See https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/export-content-to-word-pdf-html-and-xml-139475.html.

On a space one can export to PDF, XML and HTML. When selecting a lot of pages these exports can be very big.

Where are these exports (temporarily) saved? On the server? On your local profile?

Thanks.

In the Server installation space exports are save to a temp directory in Confluence_Home

The files are automatically removed once they are downloaded.

Parts, not necessarily all, of the files are stored in temporary working directories in the server installation.  A good chunk of them are done in memory.

Does the file have to be successfully downloaded for it to disappear from confluence_home directory, or does the initiation of a download trigger it to delete?
