We are using Confluence Data Center version and latest draw.io, 14.0.1, which we have just installed in our test environment.
Whenever we are trying to either create draw.io page or macro and then publish it, the Error saving file" error pops up
Have we done anything wrong duirng installation or missed something?

What's the confluence version?

draw.io 14.x is Confluence 9.x only. The app should state that it's incompatible with the confluence version when installed.

Thank you @David Benson _draw_io_ !
That was exactly the right answer for me. Draw.IO now works for us, just by upgrading Confluence.
The simplest solutions are the best :)

Welcome to the community.
I the past I have seen this pass by, are there any indications in the logging on the server.
Could be rights on local system or I have seen issues related to anti-virus programs.
Or editing and saving the diagram works if you first switch to the "Edit" mode first in Confluence page.
Or if you are using a previous draft (non-published) page, before the app was installed. Then it fails also.
But I can't give you a definet solution.

Thank you
You gave me a lot to check out, and I will together with the team.
I will check with the network team for logs. That seems to be more valid at this point.
It appears while in editing mode adding draw using the macro, and this is a clean installation so it is the first time trying our draw.io.
