I just got to this company and Confluence looks old. I can't find a version number.

For Server and DC, it is usually shown in the footer at the bottom of every page, but if that has been turned off, you can still always look to the top right for "help (?) -> About Confluence" in the menu bar near to your profile icon.

You did select "Cloud" as your type though, and if that is true, then the answer is simply "latest"

In reality, that's also "give or take 5-8 weeks" as it takes time to roll the latest version out to everyone, but you won't be more than a few weeks behind at most.  You can fetch the exact build version from the REST API, but it doesn't really tell you anything, because you have little control over it and even where you do, it's not going to affect what you're doing.

Hi @Carl Yorke,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Confluence Cloud doesn't have a version, you will always be on the latest version, unless you are on the Premium plan and selected the Bundled track, https://support.atlassian.com/organization-administration/docs/manage-product-release-tracks/
