I want a link in the navigation pane on the left to link to a different page (e.g. in a different space). Other than just creating a new page with a single link at the top, Is there a better way to do that?
It would be great if I could have a kind of 'clone' of the page I want to show. So if the original page is updated at source (like if it's in another space) the 'cloned' version also updates with it. Is this even possible?
Thanks!
Hi @Gareth ,
Welcome to Atlassian community.
You can configure the side bar and using Add link or in space tools you have an option to configure the same. Go through the below link for more info.

You can use smart link
Than allows you to make embedded page.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Also, if you want to display only part of content from antoher page, you can use the Excerpt macro.
I hope the above info helps. Have a good day!

@Gareth ,
Oh you wanted to display content from another page on a different page is it. Then yes you can use " Include macro", sinc your question was about navigation pane i provided info on reordering the pages there. Below is the documentation for include macro, if you had any challenge in using it.
Thanks,
Srinath T

Actually this is not what I originally wanted and you answered correctly the first time, but unfortunately it seems we can only add links to the 'SPACE SHORTCUTS' section so won't do for our purposes because we can't reorder these links in the list in the navigation pane. That's why this alternative 'include page' feature is an OK option here.
Thank you!

I've discovered that we can actually insert the content of another page to an page by inserting (/) the 'Include Page' feature. You then click the pen icon at the bottom of the tool and either type to search for a page name, or paste in the 'share' link and it will update with a live version of the original page. Not quite what I was after, but will ultimately work.
