What happened to insert symbol?

from the insert menu there use to be a symbol as in https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/symbols-emoticons-and-special-characters-136870.html

But now its not there. the latex formulas are also gone. Here is what I do have

Is this a browser specific issue ?
If it is not related to any specific thing you changed in system settings, I'd suggest to go raise a support ticket to Atlassian,

it is not browser specific. Old pages still have the original insert options. New pages have the new options.
