WebDAV Launcher add-on restarted my firefox but didn't proceed to install the add-on

I wanted to use "Edit in Office" function then firefox promted to install WebDAV Launcher add-on. I chose to install and then it requested to restart firefox. After firefox restarted, nothing happened. So I tried to install again and still nothing happened after firefox restart. Now if I click the "Edit in Office", even no window pops up for add-on install. Firefox just has no reaction at all....

My OS is Mac v10.12.4 and my firefox is v45.8. The add-on I tried to install is v1.1 which I got here - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/webdav-launcher/

I would recommend that you install the latest version of Firefox and manually install the latest version of the WebDAV addon from https://update.atlassian.com/office-connector/URLLauncher/latest/webdavloader.xpi
