Want to build a dashboard with SQL connection

Please anyone help me.

I am able to get the tables from SQL, I want so plot some graphs and charts over the able. Correct me if I am wrong, available gadgets are only for JIRA issues, or we can use them for SQL data also?

@Arifyou are right that all built in gadgets work around Jira Issues or Jira entities and not external data source like SQL.

To achieve SQL gadget you have two options,

1. Using External Plugin
   • There many SQL related plugin available on Marketplace, you can pick the one that meet your need
   • "Power Database Fields Pro" is a great option, it has good number of installs and is provided by Top Vendor - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/630415/power-database-fields-pro-external-data?hosting=datacenter&tab=overview
2. Custom Plugin
   • Developing a Custom Jira Gadget is easy, it require knowledge of Java, Javascirpt and HTML
