Hello everyone,
I am interested in creating a wiki for companies in a specific field of innovation. I have already created pages with overview tables that include information such as the company's name, country of origin, and founding year. Now, I would like to develop a filtering engine that can display all the companies that align with the filters I set on the engine. I want the information to be extracted from the respective pages and ideally have the names of the matching companies displayed as links to their individual pages.
Could you assist me with this task or recommend any resources or guidance that could help me solve this problem?
Thank you very much in advance :)
Hi @Tim Landwehr ,
If the tables that you want to collect consist of one data row, then you may use the standard Page Properties/Page Properties Report macros. You may read more about setting a report here, in the Atlassian Documentation.
If you need to collect multiple-row tables, you may try the app that we develop - Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence.
Our Table Excerpt/Table Excerpt Include macros serve as an advanced version of the standard Page Properties/Page Properties Report. And if you wrap the Table Excerpt Include macro in the Table Filter macro, you'll be able to filter your report on the fly, set a default sorting, and much more.
