Using iframe Widget in Confluence include just the Max Jira Dashboard Gadget

Daniella Schneider April 6, 2023

I would like to embed an iframe into my confluence page using the iframe macro. I have Jira dashboard that has been created but I only want to highlight 1 metric/gadget from the entire dashboard.

When I include the maximized link into the iframe it still pulls up the entire dashboard which isn't helpful. Is there a way to iframe in a 1 single gadget? without having to create a bunch individualized dashboards with 1 metric highlight (which defeats the purpose)

@Daniella Schneider I tested this and I was able to display only the maximized gadget in the iFrame.

Here's a screenshot of my dashboard in Jira which shows all of the gadgets I have added to it.

I maximized the Assigned to Me gadget, copied the URL and added it to the iFrame macro. Here's a screenshot showing my Confluence page with the dashboard only displaying the maximized Assigned to Me gadget.

This worked for me with and without modifying any of the other iFrame macro settings. To properly fit it on the page I used 100% for the width, and trial & error to find that 800px worked for the height.

P.S. You might want to edit the URL in your post to remove your company name.
