Using an Automation tool for making a OAuth 2.0 request.

Average Hawk June 28, 2021

I'm using Integromat automation tool to create a custom process for taking Slack messages in a private channel and posting them to Confluence. To establish an HTTP OAuth2.0 request I need parameters including the Authorize URI, Token URI, and Client ID/secret key. Where would I find this information to establish a connection?

Hello there, Average Hawk!

Welcome to Atlassian Community. It's nice to have you join us. laugh

There's an article about making OAuth 2.0 requests in Confluence Cloud on our Developer documentation:

To authenticate your Cloud site, follow the steps at Manage API tokens.

We have a separate Atlassian Developer Community if you have any questions about this process. The community there is more suited to answering development-related questions, whereas this forum is for end-users of our products.

I hope this helps, but let us know if you have any questions or concerns!

Take care,

Shannon
