Using Jira issues content but with added columns

Gerald Tan December 10, 2023

I find using Jira issues as content on a Confluence page really helpful because I don't have to update information on two places. But, we're also showing this to the client that has access only to the confluence page. Is it possible to add columns to the resulting Jira table such that it only is available on Confluence?

@Gerald Tan There is not.  Everything shown through the macro comes from Jira.  You could create a custom field in Jira and then show that to the customer in Confluence.  Depending on how many issues you are focusing on you could ad a confluence table and add an issue to each row and maintain the information in the table.  That would be a lot of work though.
