Hi, I'm working on a project that would include monitoring users interactions with the tool, I tried looking up the API documentation but did not find what I'm after.
how can we retrieve our users data such as: created, updated, views and searches withing a rolling time frame?
can I achieve this using the API and Power Automate?
TIA,
Nelson
@Nelson Silva The information you are looking for is collected by the Analytics service on the Atlassian platform. It has an extremely limited REST API, as far as I know only a couple of end-points: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/rest/v1/api-group-analytics/#api-group-analytics
What are you building that tool for? What is the use case?
If using an app for this, you may want to check out the "User analytics" dashboard:
..and also "User engagement":
These are provided by the Better Content Archiving app with no configuration needed.
(Discl. it is a paid and supported app developed by our team. Free for 10 users!)
Hello @Nelson Silva
Welcome to the community.
Yes, you can achieve this by using the Confluence Cloud API.
This is for information purposes only. Our Viewtracker app offers this report precisely for the use case you mentioned.
