User is disconnected when switching from JIRA to Confluence

Hi Atlassian,

I have a problem since I added Confluence on my server, JIRA was already installed on this one and was working well.
Now each time an user use Confluence everybody is disconnected from JIRA. The same thing happens when someone is using JIRA, people are disconnected from Confluence.

I installed JIRA and Confluence using Linux installers so they are supposed to work on different Tomcat containers, not sure about that...
I also use JIRA to manage Confluence users, maybe the problem come from here.

Does somebody have an idea on how to fix that?

Thank you

Hi Antoine,

This problem is most often caused by the cookie being overwritten when accessing JIRA, Confluence or potentially any other applications with a web-login on the same domain or IP.

On this link you can find more details and how to fix it:
