User Macros: Parameters to control XML elements?

Hi everyone. When creating user macros, is it possible to control if certain XML elements are used via parameters?

For example:

If my user macro has something like:

<ac:ABC123>Content</ac:ABC123>

<ac:XYZ789>Content</ac:XYZ789>

Is there a parameter I can add to say "do/don't render the XYZ789 line in this macro?"
