User Macro for Include Content

We used to use the Include Content Macro by Keysight Technologies, but they haven't released an update in over two years, and it seems we cannot use the macro anymore. 

We're on Data Center, so I'm thinking we have the option to write a user macro to replace this functionality. I know the Include Page macro is the basis. Does anyone know what this user macro would look like for specific content on a page?

@Kmmaughs I'm not sure exactly what the old macro achieved, but could you use the Excerpt and Excerpt Include macros? I see they are available on Data Center:
