Upload and edit of word documents on confluence and activity stream updates

Hi everyone, 

We recently imported several word documents as pages they show up on the activity stream on the created dated however when you edit the item the updated date actually changes to edit 

so for example 

Stream will say Person created page on specific date if anything is edited the status updated from created to edited through out the gadget.

How do we resolve or is have create and edit status displayed separately on activity

I think I need a bit of clarification on your issue. From what I understand, you import Word Documents to convert to a page in Confluence, and in your Activity Stream, it's showing the date that they're created.

However, if you edit the page that has been created, the date shows the last edited date.

Is this correct? It seems that would be expected behavior to me, but if you can show me an example where it's not working properly, or what you'd expect to happen, I'd be happy to take a look.
