We are in the process of upgrading from 7.13.12 to 7.16.5 and stuck on this.
[confluence.upgrade.recovery.ConfluenceProgressMonitor] logTask Starting TABLES_DATA
Is this normal? If this is due to 'recovery file generation, can I stop it and disable the recovery? -Dconfluence.upgrade.recovery.file.enabled=false, and then start Confluence again?
Also, is there a log or process I can check to see the progress other than "Starting TABLES_DATA"?
Thanks!
@Dong Park This KB will help you out - https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/upgrading-hangs-when-generating-pre-upgrade-recovery-file-590938663.html so what you shared is correct. Your instance is probably very large thus causing the issue.

I think it is pretty much normal - it does take time , keep your eyes on the logfile.
