Upgrade 7.1 to 7.3.1 - poblem mit PostgreSql version

Michael Gruber February 21, 2020

Hi,
wants to upgrade Confluence from V7.1.0 to V7.3.1 (Server, Win). The system says that my database does not fit.

I have installed PostgreSQL DB (V9.5 and V12). Confluence shows me V12 as active DB. Is V12 supported at all? I thought I was using V9.5.

What can I do? I need V9.6 (after release notes) and I am confused how to proceed? Migrate from V12 to V9.5/V9.6? and then upgrade to Confluence 7.3.1?

Thanks for your help.
Michael

Hi @Michael Gruber

Jira 7.3.1 does only support PostgreSQL versions 9.6 and 10. Your database check will always fail, if you use Postgres 9.5 or version 12. You should update to Postgres 9.6 to solve this problem.
Best,
Nicolas
