I have a page with an extensive table in which I am attempting to resize columns of to fit better on the screen. I have changed the table to fixed width but am only able to resize a single column within the table, regardless of where that particular column falls within the table.
For example, initially the only column I was able to resize successfully, was the first column. To test, I cut and pasted the first column to be the second column in the table and still, this is the only column I am able to change the width of by dragging the right hand side border of the column.
I have attempted to revert back to responsive, save, edit, change to fixed width, save, edit again to no avail.
For additional notes, I do have multiexcerpt macros in most of the cells within the table, not sure if that may be the source of the issue (though I do have multiexcerpt macros in the one column I am able to adjust)
Any ideas on what may be the issue?

After some further testing it appears it has something to do with the MultiExcerpt and MultiExcerptInclude macros.
I tested removing the macros from an entire column and was able to adjust the column width. Once I added a MultiExcerpt macro back in, the column auto adjusted to the width of the macro box. The width of the MultiExcerptInclude box is even wider than the MultiExcerpt macro box which is causing the columns to be far wider than the data included in the macro box itself.
I'm not sure I can change the automatically defined width of the column once the macro is added but feedback is always welcome!
Hi @Rachel Bedi ,
If it happens so that, besides the Multiexcerpt app, you also have the Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence app (the add-on is developed by our company), you can use the Table Transformer macro to define width for your columns.
