When editing a page and its name, I receive an error: "Give your page a unique name". But the name is unique already. Also, I tried to rename the page via tree menu. But it gives me an error as well and says 'That name already exists'. I don't understand why it doesn't accept the unique name I gave. Are there any logs that show other pages with the same name?
Thank you

This error is what it says it is - the words or sentence you are trying to name your page as has already been used. Confluence ignores most special characters and the case of the letters when comparing the names of pages.
There's no direct comparison page that comes out of this error, but Confluence search looks first at page titles, so just try typing the name of the page into the search in a new browser tab or window.
Maybe the reason is that the page name contains symbols which Confluence does not see as different.
My recommendation is to e.g. add the digit "1" to the page name and see if the rename works.

Hi everyone,
I'm experiencing the same issue. The name was used before, but the page has since been deleted. It seems to be a bug. Has anyone found a workaround? I prefer not to use special characters in the page name.
Thanks!
Update: the page was actually archived, not deleted. So I simply restored the page. Also, found out that it's possible to restore deleted pages from Space settings > Manage content > Trash
