Hello all,
I think this is a Confluence (Cloud) bug.
First, there is the automatic link function. On its own, it's rather annoying because many times, pasting plain text may appear to be a valid URL, but it's just an example or pseudoURL. Actually, Confluence doesn't even correctly link the entire URL line, so, even if it were a valid URL, it often doesn't get rendered into a valid URL anyway.
But when these example URLs, not intended to be clicked, occur, I am forced to use the Unlink function to remove the link from the text. I would not have bothered to complain about this feature if it weren't for the fact that there is a bug in the Unlink function. :(
I am finding that clicking Unlink results in the text being unlinked, but it also removes some of the text.
For instance:
curl -i -X POST --url http://localhost:8001/services/<Service Name>/routes --data 'protocols[]=https' --data 'paths[]=/api'
(Notice: The underlined part represents what Confluence erroneously interpreted as the full URL - BUG1).
But when I apply Unlink, that results in the removal of some of the text:
curl -i -X POST --url http://localhost:8001/services/ Name>/routes --data 'protocols[]=https' --data 'paths[]=/api'
(Notice: "<Service" was removed - BUG2)
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
Thanks
Am I the only one experiencing this problem?
I feel alone. :(
